Mason Co next scrimmage is Wed at 5, not Tuesday. Freshmen, JV and varsity are scheduled to scrimmage Simon Kenton at the Fieldhouse.

Thanks for the summary. I know they had a nice record last year against some good competition. Do they play the typical "northern KY style" (ball control, great shot selection, boxing out and rebounding)? Just asking because Mason County often has difficulty matching up against that particular style of play (witness last year's 2nd round state tourney game).

They lost to Shelby County in the 10th region championship last year.

To ease back to the topic of this thread, the loss to Mason in the preseason doesn't surprise considering that Mason is ranked top 10 preseason by the CJ and a very, very good team, well coached, etc. Only good can come from measuring yourselves like that IMO.
