Beard Trimmers

I find myself in the market for a new electric beard trimmer. I've been using the same trimmer for years but the thing's kaput.

 

Anyone bought one recently?

I've not bought one for years....I have a battery operated Wahl beard trimmer that's probably close up on a decade old. I also use a nice plug-in Wahl clipper to cut my hair. I've had that since I was probably 16. Wahl is top-notch, and usually the brand you'll see in barber's shops.

Looking on Amazon, it appears that the Wahl beard trimmers have mostly moved away rom being battery operated to being rechargable batteries. This is the same basic trimmer as mine, but rechargeable version.

I've read good reviews on one made by Brio.

 

I use a full size pair of clippers for length but an old pair of small Wahl trimmers for edging. If they crap out I will likely buy the Brio for edging and shaping.

I've been using a Philips Norelco Beard trimmer. Won't break the bank and seems to do a great job. I also don't have to mess with installing multiple sized combs.
