Agreed! I absolutely hated how they kept trying to force Roman Reigns on the fans and always going for the title. With that said Vince may get what he wanted eventually. First of all hopefully Reigns make a full recovery in his real life fight and can get back. However, if he can make it back he probably will then become what Vince wanted him to be. I feel like fans will want to see him be the guy after this real life fight he is going through.

Spot-on. :thumb:

The four matches for the primary men's & women's titles look really good on paper.

Will Balor still compete in the Rumble now?

Not sure why they push Braun out of the title match if the expectation is for Lesnar to win. Doesn't make sense IMO.

Apparently, the plan was to always find a replacement for Braun Strowman at the Royal Rumble and his injury isn't the cause of it from what I read this morning.

I know their was talk of Seth Rollins winning the rumble and going on to face and potentially dethroning the Beast Incarnate at WrestleMania but is it possible that Strowman wins or they make the Universal title match at WrestleMania a triple threat with Rollins, Strowman and Lesnar?

According to WrestleVotes, the injury is what kept Strowman out of the Rumble match. They tweeted the info out before Raw started last night. Dave Meltzer came along after the fact and said that this was the plan all along. I'm inclined to go with WrestleVotes.

I do think it's a possibility that Strowman and/or Rollins gets Lesnar at Wrestlemania.

Prior to last night, I thought Balor was one of the three favorites to win the Rumble (Rollins & McIntyre being the other two).

The Rock would be a dark horse for me.

I was reading the rumor round up on cageside seaats this morning and they were saying that according to the wrestling observer his injury wasn't the cause for him being pulled from the Rumble and that him being changed for someone else was always the plan.

Someone's story is messed up whether it's wrestling observer or wrestlevotes. I'm a little more inclined to believe wrestlevotes. Why else would Strowman be pulled if it wasn't for his injury.

I think Strowman gets added to the Wrestlemania match with Lesnar. Whether it be a triple threat or not is still up in the air.

They certainly need to get Braun hot again. Last night was a good start. His segment with Vince was pretty funny.

It was dull. They crossed a Stone Cold line with that.

United States Championship match has been added, with champion Rusev defending against former champion Shinsuke Nakamura.

Updated Card:

Brock Lesnar © vs. Finn Balor - WWE Universal Championship

Daniel Bryan © vs. A.J. Styles - WWE Championship

Ronda Rousey © vs. Sasha Banks - WWE Raw Women's Championship

Asuka © vs. Becky Lynch - WWE Smackdown Women's Championship

Sheamus & Cesaro © vs. The Miz & Shane McMahon - WWE Raw Tag Team Championship

Rusev © vs. Shinsuke Nakamura - WWE United States Championship

Buddy Murphy © vs. Akira Tozawa vs. Kalisto vs. Hideo Itami - WWE Cruiserweight Championship (Fatal 4-Way)

30-Man Royal Rumble - R-Truth, Drew McIntyre, Big E, Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, Seth Rollins, Jeff Hardy, Dean Ambrose, Bobby Lashley, Samoa Joe, John Cena, Elias, Baron Corbin, Jinder Mahal, Apollo Crews, Andrade Cien Alamas, Mustafa Ali, Rey Mysterio, Titus O'Neil, Randy Orton

30-Woman Royal Rumble - Carmella, Ember Moon, Natalya, Bayley, Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan, Sarah Logan, Mandy Rose, Sonya DeVille, Alicia Fox, Zelina Vega, Naomi, Mickie James, Billie Kay, Peyton Royce, Charlotte Flair, Tamina, Dana Brooke, Lana, Nia Jax, Nikki Cross, Alexa Bliss, Lacey Evans

* The Cruiserweight & United States Championship matches are slated for the pre-show.

* Finn Balor & Sasha Banks were originally slated to compete in their respective Royal Rumble matches, but they have since been removed because both are challenging for titles.

* John Cena is not expected to participate in the Royal Rumble match due to an ankle injury that really isn't an ankle injury. He's filming a movie.

I'm predicting all four major titleholders will retain their championships. Asuka/Becky is the one I'm least sure of, though.

I look for Rusev & Buddy Murphy to retain their titles as well, with the only title changing hands being the Raw Tag titles.

I'm predicting Seth Rollins to win the Men's Royal Rumble match & Charlotte Flair to win the Women's Royal Rumble match.

A few random predictions:

- R-Truth earned the #30 position due to his & Carmella's winning the Mixed Match Challenge. I look for him to screw it up someway and not come out at #30.

- I think either Batista or The Rock will be a competitor in the Men's Royal Rumble match. Most likely Batista.

- Almost everyone is expecting either Charlotte or Becky to win the Women's Rumble. I could see them throwing a curve & giving it to someone like Mandy Rose, whom I expect to receive a major push in the coming weeks and months.

- If Braun Strowman is in the Rumble match, I think he will win. I'm going with Rollins because I'm not sure if Strowman will be in it.

I wish AJ Lee would make her comeback at the Rumble. Win it and then wrestle at WrestleMania!
