Scott County was the much better team tonight. Ballard was playing without its best interior player (Alexander Holley), but he would not have made much of a difference tonight (although the player who started in his place, Kaleb Green, is just an 8th-grader). Scott County looked very good. Ballard will get better as the season progresses.

Scott county I believe played without one their starters in Glenn Covington who is still playing football. They will be without him tomorrow as they take on olive branch who is top 5 player in his class. It be nice to have him but I’d rather see him bring home a state football championship

Scott County appears to be on a state title mission this season after coming so close last year. They earlier beat the top rated team in the 13th region by around 40 points.
