November 26, 20187 yr I guess you share the same sentiment about Jordan Jones playing for UK then... As a matter of fact, yes. A player should walk away from idots, not fight them. U.K. was already beating up on, humiliating U.L. on the field and the UL kids actions added to it. The U.K. kid had no business joining in. I was also talking about the coach at U.L., he was obviously telling the kid get off the sideline, to the locker room and he caved.
November 26, 20187 yr Agreed and that's part of what I was referring to. Just felt bad for the guy all the way around. I don't know what he said to Stoops after the game, but it had the feel of an I'm sorry it got the way it did type of handshake. Hate to see any guy put in that situation.A coach, any coach has to stick to his word, imo. Should they cave, reverse what they told a kid then that tells every other member on that team that they can get by with some things. That's jmo, I'm a self admitted old school guy.

It almost seemed like he took the what does it matter stance. In the end, it's not gonna be his team. But I applaud the effort. I also got the feeling that even the coaches weren't on the same page with that whole debacle.

November 27, 20187 yr I thought Jones should have been let go last year. He was out of control. I thought so as well but then heard an interview with stoops where he was asked about it. Said everyone in Jones life had quit on him and he wasn't going to be the next.
