Thomas wasnt a great offensive guy, and Perry is still far from him there. I know you dont like to agree, but its tough to say you cant see any resemblance on D. In two games against D2 teams he looks like Tyrus Thomas on the stat sheet. Good for him. If you think his body and game look like Thomas, it's going to be a fun 4 months for me...
November 10, 200619 yr The only real difference I see that definitly set Thomas and Stevenson apart is that Thomas was a lot stronger in his RS freshman year than Stevenson is. Obviously we havent been able to see enough from Stevenson to tell yet, but there is some similarities.

Yeah, Thomas has a better build for adding weight and even as little inside moves as Thomas had, Stevenson isn't even there offensively. I think where you see the similarities is timing, length, and getting off the floor quickly. Also, remember Thomas was not highly regarded and was a redshirt as a freshmen. I'm not saying Stevenson will ever be at that level, but its food for thought...
