November 4, 20187 yr Final. Notre Dame goes on the road in a tough environment and takes care of business like they should. Notre Dame out gained them by 200 yards, but penalties and a blocked punt allowed this to stay close in the end.
November 4, 20187 yr Author Didn’t watch the game but this was a good win for ND. Notre Dame was up 27 to 10 in the 4th. With 11 minutes left. Then Northwestern made it interesting by scoring a td. Then blocking a punt by Notre Dame and recovered at the 10 yard like and punched it in. So just like that in a 4 minute span it went from a 17 point lead to 3. Notre Dame responded like a good team needed to do though. They took off close to 5 minutes off the clock while driving down the field and sealing it with a td run.

Only Alabama would have a chance to destroy them. However Alabama at this point would destroy almost everyone. Notre Dame has done what a playoff team should. It doesnt matter how tough of a road environment a game is. They went in there and took care of business. It's not like they went in there and got blown out like we seen a team do. Plus beat one of the best teams in the country with the game never being in doubt, and that was without their best qb playing. So that win will look even better after Michigan wins the Big 10 that I predicted after Notre Dame beat them.
