First Playoff Rankings

Featured Replies

Tuesday night is the release of the first playoff rankings. What do you think the top 10 will look like? Most years the playoff committee and the AP and coaches polls disagree quite a bit I would expect this year to have even more disagreements. What do you all think it will look like?

I think my top 7 will be right but 8-10 I think could be in any order. Washington State and UCF will be 11 and 12 respectively

8. Ohio State

9. Kentucky

10. WVU

Note … this is my guess on what they will have for the first week, not what it will be at seasons end. That will no doubt change several times before we get the p/o teams.

UCF should be top 5.

The only teams they've beat with a winning record at Pittsburgh and Memphis. Those two teams are a combined 8-8. They play UC soon though.

According to ESPN, there are 12 teams that still have a shot at the playoff.

Clemson

Alabama

LSU

Georgia

West Virginia

Washington State

UCF

Can't disagree.

Still can't believe we're at the end of October and Kentucky football is still in the conversation.

If they make it the remainder of their schedule unscathed it will be impressive, but still won’t be anywhere near playoff worthy. It won’t matter though because they won’t beat Houston, USF, and Cincy. They drop at least one of those games and hopefully two so we never have to hear about UCF again.

Why?

Good luck with that. :lol2:

I mean, he's been a UCF fan for all of 8 months so I can understand his frustration with them not being respected.

It's pretty amazing how one can be a Florida State fan when they're good, then when they suck, magically become a UCF fan.

Don’t forget Penn State and Washington when they’re good.
