Last week's Bulldog sideline was alarming. Starters from the beginning of the year on crutches. RB, 2 DBs, WR, etc. I know X isn't going to throw us a pity party and I'm sure Male isn't any less concerned because of a few injured Tigers.

I think both Defenses will play a big role in this game. Turnovers are the x-factor as BOTH teams have struggled with turnovers. I like Male's D to takeover somewhere in the late 3rd quarter and pull away. Wouldn't be surprised if Male reversed last year's score and shut out the Tigers but Male has struggled with stopping big runs.

X - 10

H - 35

Male has 7 turnovers through 8 games. That's less than 1 turnover per game. I would not say Male has struggled with turnovers.

St. X had 5 last week.

Cal Preps projects Male 26-21. I don’t see that much scoring, but margin of victory of 7 or less wouldn’t surprise me.

Love this game every year; so much rides on this game every year. I think these two teams are very similar, and it all starts with the defense. Two factors will be turnovers and 3rd down percentage; whose offense can stay on the field and allow their defense to rest up on the sideline.

There are injuries on both sides, but I think the injury to X's starting QB will end up being the deciding factor, and I think X will struggle to consistently move the football against Male's defense.

While I voted for X in the poll earlier in the week, I think Male ends up winning...

St. X - 13

Male - 21

Going to be light rain, wind up to 20mph, and wind chill around 40. Game on grass field, so I could see weather impacting, especially in turnover potential with a wet ball.

Does anybody know if you can take umbrellas inside Male’s stadium?
