Cardinals are adding Andrew Miller. Everyone in the NL Central is getting better. Unless the Reds get two aces it’s not going to matter. Might as well punt another year at this point.

And I agree. Unless this team is able to sign Keuchel and trade for Kluber, may as well try their luck next season.

Looks like the Cardinals are nearing a 5 year extension with Goldschmidt.

A lot of teams have already placed their bets on pitchers. Most of the contenders are “set” barring injury and the teams in no mans land and bottom of the pack does it even make sense?

 

My guess is he signs after the draft, saving the team who signs him a draft pick. Of course, injuries change everything.
