Any undefeated BCS conference champion should go to the NT game over any one loss BCS conference champ. All you can do is win all your games.

I think that Rutgers will lose in Morgantown too, but if they go in there and beat WVU they are defintely deserving of a title shot.

To be fair to preseason pollsters, I don't think anyone saw this one coming.

 

So why not start the first poll on October 1? That would mean that all posters would have seen (theoretically!) every team play 3,4,5 times each. They could then place the undefeateds, 1-loss teams and 2-loss teams in the right spot.

 

Unfortunately, you have to have two or three good seasons before you can win the national championship in football. Odd system!

They should but no, they won't get the chance...
