A little over halfway through the season so who is everyones favorites to bring home the hardware this year at the 8th grade level? Any upset predictions?

The best battle is coming out of the Medium division between Sharp, Holmes, and Walton. Twenhofel looks good coming out of the Large I believe and Bracken in the Small.

Still lots of games that need to be made up....half or almost half the games for most teams. Plus several teams are struggling with injuries/getting key players back from injury. I don’t think any division has a clear favorite

Yes the weather has been a bear. Most of the make-up games have scheduled or played over the last couple weeks. Going to be an interesting post-season. Tonights Sharp/Holmes tilt at Scott High should be entertaining.

Turkeyfoot got a #2 seed for 8th grade in the large division. And will play Summit View on Saturday Oct 13th (7:30 PM) at Dixie High School.

 

Middle Division is wrapping up this week so we should should know seeds and opponents Thursday evening.

 

If anyone has any info on who is doing what at the small division level please fill us in.

Yes I believe they have a 4 vs 5 seed game and that would be it. Twenhofel is the #1 team in the large division. Followed by Turkeyfoot and Summit View.

 

Medium Division like I said still needs to sort a few things out but it looks like, right now, the seeding will be #1 Holmes, #2 Walton, #3 Sharp, and #4 Beechwood. Holmes has Sharp Wednesday (at Holmes) and that may have a say in the seeding should Sharp upset them.

 

I haven't heard much about the small division this season. If anyone has insight or information I'd love to hear about how their seedings are playing out.

This isn't a jab at NCC but I was in attendance at the NCC scrimmage against Holmes (8th) this year and did not think they would be on top. I heard they were a very young team too so this is great for that organization going forward. Good job coaches.

They have a lot of talent and a great coaching staff. Looks good to keep the program around for while. From a Ludlow fan im looking forward to the years of competition.

Holmes 8th grade has some big boys.
