Male tops Associated Press 6A high school football poll

St. Xavier #6 in 6A and Trinity #7. That will get sorted out next week.

Ashland Blazer #1 in 4A.

Pikeville #1 in 1A.

Holy Cross not in top 10 of 1A and Fulton County received a first place vote in 1A.

That is what stuck out to me, but I’m sure there are other rankings people will find fault with.

Lou. Holy Cross not in 1A top ten....I don't know about that ???

How exciting it will be to have Louisville Holy Cross back in the district with Campbellsville. Much respect to that program...

I love the Fulton County story this year, but giving them first place votes shows some of the real problems with AP Rankings.

The person who voted Fulton County #1 deserves their vote revoked

All they did was look at the KHSAA scoreboard for 1A teams and saw Fulton County at the top of the list and voted for them since they have the most points scored of the undefeated teams. I guarantee Lynn Camp was their 2nd place vote as well.

This is someone who is literally mailing it in.
