September 17, 20188 yr ACC likely goes 3-1 in that scenario, if not 4-0. VT is beating Penn State? No chance. Miami is beating Wisconsin? No chance. Miami and Wisconsin are basically carbon copies of the teams last year and Wisconsin manhandled Miami last year in the Orange Bowl.
September 17, 20188 yr VT is beating Penn State? No chance. Miami is beating Wisconsin? No chance. Miami and Wisconsin are basically carbon copies of the teams last year and Wisconsin manhandled Miami last year in the Orange Bowl. I mean if Appy State and BYU can almost do it and do it (on the road mind you), not sure why you would think there's no chance two top 25 teams couldn't?
September 17, 20188 yr VT is beating Penn State? No chance. Miami is beating Wisconsin? No chance. Miami and Wisconsin are basically carbon copies of the teams last year and Wisconsin manhandled Miami last year in the Orange Bowl. Wisconsin should have lost to Appalachian State and Wisconsin did lose to BYU. You kidding? We need to watch more football? :lol2:
September 17, 20188 yr I mean if Appy State and BYU can almost do it and do it (on the road mind you), not sure why you would think there's no chance two top 25 teams couldn't? You are putting way too much stock into those games. Especially App State.
September 17, 20188 yr You are putting way too much stock into those games. Especially App State. So Miami isn't better than BYU?
September 17, 20188 yr You are putting way too much stock into those games. Especially App State. Wait, so we shouldn't be basing it off of actual, real life games?
September 17, 20188 yr Wisconsin should have lost to Appalachian State and Wisconsin did lose to BYU. You kidding? But Penn State didn’t lose and this same Wisconsin team beat this same Miami team the last time we watched them play and it was pretty convincing.
September 17, 20188 yr Wait, so we shouldn't be basing it off of actual, real life games? Games that you admittedly aren’t watching...
September 17, 20188 yr So Miami isn't better than BYU? Miami is better than BYU. Wisconsin is better than BYU. They lost a game. It happens.
September 17, 20188 yr But Penn State didn’t lose and this same Wisconsin team beat this same Miami team the last time we watched them play and it was pretty convincing. The fact that you're clinging to a Wisconsin win that didn't even happen this year, and ignoring a loss less than 48 hours ago is telling. :lol2:
September 17, 20188 yr Miami is better than BYU. Wisconsin is better than BYU. They lost a game. It happens. How can you say "No chance" Miami beats Wisconsin when they just lost to BYU? There is ZERO reasoning behind that. Only conference bias, which you say you hate.
September 17, 20188 yr But Penn State didn’t lose and this same Wisconsin team beat this same Miami team the last time we watched them play and it was pretty convincing. Last year's game has zero bearing on what would happen this season. I mean, Wisconsin lost almost 65% of their starting defense from last season....
September 17, 20188 yr So I'm putting too much stock into results of games THIS season, whereas you're basing your opinion off of results of a game that occurred last season, where one team had to replace 7 of their starting 11 on defense?
September 17, 20188 yr Ohio State and Penn State are great teams. Wisconsin, Michigan, Michigan State, and Iowa are solid teams. Minnesota is a decent team, Maryland wiped the field with the 4th best team in the Big 12. Maryland beat Texas by 5 points...exactly how is that wiping the field? That would be what Temple did to Maryland. And we're talking about a Temple team that was beat by Villanova...in football, not basketball, but football. I didn't even know Villanova had a football team. They also lost to Buffalo. You really trying to convince us Maryland is good?
