Which would be your game of the week?

#1 Trinity at Moeller ( OH)

This game should tell us if Trinity is buisness as usual or chink in their armor. Moeller is an Ohio perennial power but not as good as Warren Central.

#3 Scott County at #5 5A Highlands

This is a big game on the road for Scott County. A loss here could create an opening for Frederick Douglass to be the king of Central KY 6A.

#4 St. Xavier vs #2 5A Bowling Green

This is a big game for St. Xavier as a loss would put St. X 0-2 and show big trouble on Poplar Level Rd.

#9 Central Hardin at #3 2A Christian Academy of Louisville

This game will give 6A a chance to redeem themselves against 2A powers. It will also show if Central Hardin is a potential top 5 team in 6A if they get the win here.

I'd take Trinity/Moeller all day.

Trinity/Moeller

I picked Trinity to win.

I know they have some injuries but after last week I am not sold on Moe.

I picked T/Moe. Any talk of chinks in Trinity's armor is wishful thinking regardless of the win/loss record. This schedule is tough to say the least. The time to play the Rocks is early, as the youngsters will only get better. Hopefully the injuries will not hamper their progress.

Agree!

Agree also on T/Moe, but no matter what happens in the Scott County game. There is no way FD should be the kings of CKY- playing Wayne Co, Tates Creek and Paintsville- 95% of 6A teams would go 3-0 against that schedule

That would be settled when they play each other later in year. I don’t think Highlands will beat Scott Co, but if they lose, they may be a more beatable team than in past.

Trinity vs Moeller is big boy football.

A vote for any other game is juvenile.

X and BG will be good because the Purples are recent multi time champs, while the Tigers are a perennial threat in 6A, but haven't broken the threshold since 09.

CAL beats CH, for some of the same reasons as X and BG. CAL is a proven top dog in 2A, while CH was decent last year with 4(?) losses and truly outclassed against Trinity.

Highlands has a very storied history, and I would not normally count them out. However they are regrouping and somewhat reeling from a few years of mediocrity. They may be on the right track, but that Scott Co. offense will provide no relief.
