November 4, 200619 yr UK hasn't beaten any of the big three in the SEC East since Bill Curry's last year. Are they due? Heck yes, and this may be their best opportunity. Will they cash in? I am not real confident, but it is their best shot this year. Georgia's biggest problem is that they are real young at the QB position, but still have some offensive weapons and their defense is still pretty good. UK has to force some turnovers and capitalize on short fields. They had opportunities to put MSU away in the first half last week with 3 possessions starting in MSU territory last week but didnt score. It would be nice to get a special teams touchdown. Many praise UK's punt and kickof return teams, but I don't think they have scored one all year. It would be nice to get a cheap one today. I'm hoping like crazy, but don't see it happening. It would be nice to get Rich Brooks a signature victory to get some people off his back. Some UK fans still will not be satisfied with a 6-6 record and a bowl opportunity, because of who they have beaten. If anything at the least they need a good showing.
November 4, 200619 yr I think the Cats are facing the Dawgs at a bad time. UGA has looked pretty bad most of the season. They looked pretty good in an "almost" comeback against the Gators. I think the Dawgs have something to prove, and it is just bad luck that the Cats will be the team they prove it against. UGA 34 UK 14
November 4, 200619 yr I think this is a good time to be playing Jaw-jah. Coming off an emotional home loss last week, having a big game next week, and playing on the road this week in Lexington. This is as good a chance for the Cats to be one of the Big III in the SEC East. I think it will be a close, similiar to the SC game, with Ga winning by a TD. Go Cats!
November 5, 200619 yr This game will show what UK is really made of, a program on the rise or the same ole' Kentucky. Maybe they are on the rise. :thumb:
November 5, 200619 yr Georgia is obviously a team that plays to the level of their competition. In this case, I'll say Dawgs 27 Cats 24. And I thought my prediction was so MONEY.......
