October 28, 200620 yr I thought it would be a good idea to begin a thread to make comments and observations about the college football games going on today. Not every game needs an update thread, but may have a play or two worthy of conversations. Feel free to begin an update thread of any game worthy of attention. And feel free to comment on any game today in this thread.
October 28, 200620 yr I actually thought ND would struggle with Navy although ND is leading 17-7 right now. Even though ND has the longest consecutive win streak against Navy there have been quite a few very close games.
October 28, 200620 yr Georgia's defense may cause some problems for the Gators today but I believe that the Gators will still get a win. As L. Corso would say "closer than the experts think".
October 28, 200620 yr Author As L. Corso would say "closer than the experts think". "Not so fast, my friend." Sorry, I couldn't resist.

October 28, 200619 yr "Not so fast, my friend." Sorry, I couldn't resist.    Good one! How about the question of will "the ol' ball coach" continue his spell over the fat pumpkin Fulmer and SC over UT? SC has the SEC's top pass defense and UT has the SEC's top passing offense. Something has to give. By the way Scribe, I like this idea of one thread for opinons/comments instead of several different ones on individual games. :thumb:
October 28, 200619 yr 24-14 Halftime. Neither team has stopped the other yet. That's usually Navy's problem. They can move the ball on anyone but they have trouble stopping teams. Then their offense is not meant to come from behind.

October 28, 200619 yr Author I hear there is a U-Haul at the front door of John L. Smith's house...
