End of 3Q. Tigers 28 SK 0. JV coming in for 4th looks like.

With 100 kids on the roster, the center can be replaced if things don't improve.

Anyone know why SK running back is out? Again.

After tonight i do not think X has closed the gap with Trinity. In previous threads i expressed the opinion that they had indeed closed the gap. They have not. Trinity totally destroyed a very good Ryle team, meanwhile X was not impressive against a very bad Simon Kenton football team. Last time i checked after getting home from the Ryle scrimmage, the Trinity reserves put up 14 more points for a 61-7 lead.

SK is not a very bad team. I have no doubt Trinity is good but I wouldn’t read into a scrimmage too much.

Let me see if I follow here...you make grand comments about the gap closing which I’m assuming not really ever seeing this X team play, then you write off the same X team while you were taking in the the Trinity/Ryle scrimmage. Have you actually seen this current team play? I’m not suggesting they’re going to win a state championship on August 10th but I wouldn’t read too much into a scrimmage in early August...but what do I know.

Yes Sk’s offense is not good now but hopefully they use the short passing game to keep the defense off guard and run like they are capable if not it will be a long season
