Reds at Tigers (7/31 - 8/1)

I'm not a Homer fan, but he pitched his butt off tonight. 8 innings, 3 hits, 2 runs, 6 K's and 1 BB...and takes the loss.

And it's interesting to see the lack of comments on Ervin's running mistake tonight. If Votto had done that, there'd be multiple posts within seconds of it happening. Just sayin'.

Seems maybe Homer is not washed up after all.

2 strong outings in a row.

Also missed the cutoff man on what might have been a close play at the plate.

He had great stuff tonight.

Missed a cutoff again today. Overthrew second base and the ball went all the way to the dugout screen. Allowed a run to score.

Reds lose today 7-4 and both games of the series. Well, that was fun while it lasted. I choked on the road.

Keep your chin up. Team fell asleep mentally the past two days...not your fault. Get back up on the horse.
