Who is there qb going to be with the departure of Carr?

Why did Carr leave ? And where did he go ? Seems like an odd move going into his senior year.

Yes he is listed on their roster as a qb.

They need to get a little more aggressive when it comes to scheduling.

Maybe next year, but can't really do anything about this year's schedule as they are two-year home-and-homes.

CAL was 6-0 last year against teams from larger classes and three of those won at least 10 games -- and all three were ousted by the eventual state champs.

Since the inception of CAL, they have improved by leaps and bounds. I remember an interview from years ago, where CAL stated one of their long term goals was to compete with Trinity, and Saint Xavier high school. CAL should start scheduling Trinity and Saint Xavier on the freshmen level, then go on from there. I would love to hear from the CAL fans as to, if this is still a goal of the program ?

ST.X frosh played them 2 years ago and beat them 36-14. I think they played well until depth wore them down.

CAL had a loaded freshman class that year, they havent had that talent since. At certain times these games make sense.
