Democrats pick up 22 seats to take the house.

Democrats pick up 3 seats net to fall short in the senate.

Blackwell loses by huge margins

Lucas beats Davis.

Coming off his amazing run on Dancing with the Stars, Jerry Springer announces he's a candidate for president in 2008. Hillary quits the senate to go up against Oprah on talk tv.

Democrats gain in both the House and Senate, but not enough to take the majority in either...

Geoff Davis beats Ken Lucas...

Dems take 28 house seats.

Dems win in Missouri, Tennessee, Maryland, Virginia and Ohio in the close Senate races.

WOW DD....you were right on the money. Missed the house by 1 and missed Tennessee by a narrow margin.

Thought I would save you guys some time and pat myself on the back. LOL

... As a tie breaker, I'll say that the Arizona referendum for pregnant pigs having plenty of room in their pens will pass, and that the Arizona referendum for awarding one million dollars (lottery style) for a randomly selected voter every two years will fail...

Well, I got both the House and the Senate predictions right, and in a stunning display of prognosticating, I correctly called Arizona's defeat of the "lottery" style payment to a random voter, as well as being correct on them passing a referendum to improve living conditions for the pregnant pigs (hey - you can't make up stuff like this)!

In real life are you Ocho Cinco?:D

I believe the Dems will likely get the House but the Senate will stay with the Republicans.

The GOP base is getting cranked up and the "wave" we heard of a few weeks back is diminishing.

One shocker I will predict is Michael Steele to defeat Cardin in Maryland which will be a major upset. Cardin got absolutely blown out of the water in their last debate, in which many of the Maryland papers said Cardin's performance was nothing short of embarrassing. Steele has momentum and have caught Cardin with the Michael Fox ad running in Maryland, when Cardin voted against stem-cell...heavy black turnout expected for Steele. If he gets 33% of the black vote he will win.

Talent is beginning to pull away from McCaskill and is at 50% in the polls. Allen(VA) is at 50% and latest attack on Webb is effective regarding details from Webb's novels.

One to watch will be New Jersey, between Kean and Menendez, just last week, Menendez had seized control but Kean is riding a nice momentum wave right now.

Conrad burns have made major inroads in Montana.

Corker and Ford will be interesting to follow as well.

I should have responded to that before today. Sorry.

Those ads did nothing to sway people in VA. The base for both was already set. The undecided swayed on Allen's tie to the Bush GOP.
