Okay. I was never clear on it. I know how Boyle County does it. I can’t speak for anyone else.

 

Back in 2010 or 11 up till that point all coaches could do was open gym and not coach but they switched the rules and allow coaches to be on the court providing instruction anytime other than the dead period, but can’t make t mandatory.

When I was in high school a few years ago, we had a practice in the mornings and then an open gym in the evenings, all summer except the dead period. None was mandatory but almost everyone showed up to both
