What does West Carter need to do to improve in 2018? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

I have heard the 2018 team will be fast, really fast. So that alone should cause problems for most teams on their schedule.

Christian Roberts (1,122 passing yards and 700 yards rushing) will need a lot of help, if this team hopes to improve on their 5-6 record from 2017.

For the past few years, the Comets have had good overall team speed. What they've lacked, especially last year, is size. They were very small a year ago. Running back Leetavious Cline is a player to watch for West Carter. He'll just be a sophomore this season, and has a ton of ability.

I believe West Carter will be an improved team under new leadership. I think the will be compete in every game on their entire schedule, which is not always the case at West. I look for them to be young but a much improved team from last year.

Which class is it that's supposed to be really good, the incoming freshmen or sophomores? For all I know, it could be both, but there's at least one that I've heard of that's been pretty successful as a group.

Both Classes have speed and good track athletes. There is potential for good offensive linemen also. This is what will hopefully allow West Carter to be very successful in 2A in the future.

I understand why they've recently played in 3A from a financial standpoint but they've had a couple of teams that could have won that eastern Kentucky 2A district over the last few years. I'm glad they'll be playing in their true class next cycle.

West Carter will be fast, strong, and athletic and should take no one by surprise. They are a very good team and teams will have to prepare for them as if they are the best team they play.
