April 3, 20188 yr I think Clint Bowyer is the first name that jumps off the page at me. The 2nd thing I notice is the Hendrick cars, and the position their in through the first 6 races.
April 4, 20188 yr Author Surprised to still see Jimmy Johnson struggling. Glad to see Bowyer won a race. I just watched NASCAR America on NBC and they did a segment on Johnson and even floated the idea he is old.

April 4, 20188 yr I think nascar likes bringing the new drivers up for marketing. Even Dale Jr had faded as of late, so many new drivers it hard to keep up, when you buy a hat or jacket for your favorite driver,you have to update yearly it seems. I was a big fan of Carl Edwards, number 99 and Tony Stewart number 14, had caps for both, now neither is racing. Just hard to keep up.

April 4, 20188 yr If anyone ever has a chance to do the nascar experience down at Ky Speedway take the opportunity, my son got me that for my birthday last year, I rode three laps with the pro, did seven laps by myself, what an awesome experience, you do almost an hour of classroom before you are aloud in the car.

You can go up to 150, I didn't, those curves come real quick, they have no speedometer, they gage you from marks, I was a real chicken, 116, I was out there with 6 other rookies. The cars are from the 2010 Daytona race we was told. I had number 88, seats don't move, I'm not to tall, I actually needed a booster cushion. Go ahead and laugh, my wife and son did. An experience I will never forget and will do it again and go faster.
