Ware with 45, UHA beat Union County in other semifinal - no surprise here, the 8th wins the region

What was the score of the UH and Union game?

Uha won by about 20. Tandy was off but the blazer defense held union under 40 I believe.

The streak continues.

Monday night is going to be epic.

59-38 Tandy had 21, two early fouls - UHA didn't play that well but Union no match regardless

Any details of this game????

Henderson played well in the first half but really had no answer for Ware. CC was able to stretch out the lead and while Henderson got it to 7 or so at one point they just couldn't maintain. I can't describe how impressive Ware played.

Union took the air out of the ball and slowed the pace of the game down. UHA is not well coached enough to play in the half court when an opposing team can discrate the pace. Problem for Union, they just didn't have the talent to compete for 4 quarters with the Blazers.

The team that can dictate the pace tomorrow will win the game. Christian starts 4 seniors and has a coach that hasn't lost a Region 2 tournament game since 2008(big gap in between haha) and looking for his 4th straight Region 2 title victory as coach of CCHS(7th overall).

CCHS is the favorite, but nothing is a given against the best player in the state.

I can only speak to this game since it’s the only time I’ve seen him.

Very good shooter and range from any where on the floor. I don’t think I saw him miss anything behind the arc during warm ups and not many during the game. High motor guy, got a ton of rebounds just coming out of nowhere. Very quick off the floor.

You are selling heights short on their defense. They held union to their lowest output of the season. The sign of a good team is when they don’t let the struggles on one end of the floor effect the other.

I give us the edge because we start 4 seniors but I also have a feeling uha has figured out our zone and I don’t think we can win playing Man to Man.

What position does he play?

#33 De'Torrion Ware, 6-5 Senior Forward. Handful!

For the season, through districts - 31.1 ppg (%'s 51.1/35.0/79.8) & 9.0 rpg. :angrybird7:

Heights also had their second lowest point total of the year. Bad first quarter, but Union always does a good job of slowing down the 8th district teams,Union just lacks the horses to do it.

That is the strategy to beat CCHS or UHA. Limit possessions. Christian County has the defense to do it, but CCHS does have a weakness that showed in the district title. COunty lacks a true point guard and when they get into a track meet they can turn it over.

But the last two games County looks to have played their best games of the year, so the are peaking at the right time.

I doubt Kyky is held under 30 points 2 games in a row so he's due for a big one.

Good matchups all around

Ware vs. Tandy for the scoring

Hollowell vs. Trice, the glue guys

Crump vs. Mathis/Brody

McGowan vs. Long/Tandy, these guys are X factor scorers

Lovan vs. Langhi, who owns the paint/glass?

Round 4's are always fun.
