Tell Us Something About Yourself...

I hate pickles. I hate the way they smell. I hate the way they taste. I hate everything about them.

So once, I ordered a calzone from a local pizza place. I picked it up and got out to my car. I was driving to my house, when I smelled that smell that only a pickle could emit. I reached down in the bag, and there was a nasty, awful, disgusting pickle. (Pickles and calzones may be a common thing, but I didn't understand then and I don't understand now.)

Not being able to stand the smell any longer, I rolled my window down and threw the pickle out. But I learned a valuable lesson that day, as the wind picked up the pickle, blew it back in, and smacked me in the face.

Pickle litter is litter, folks. If you think otherwise, the world will smack you down.

Though I am ok with pickles in general, I must say that I do not like pickle juice messing up my plate. Had a great meal today at Drakes, I did not like my pickle draining on my otherwise great tater tots. Smiled and thought about your post.

I've been with my wife since I was a sophomore in high school... 14 years ago. She was a freshman. We haven't had an argument in the last 11 years. We have the occasional disagreement, but it doesn't escalate.

I'm extremely passionate about music. I used to play drums, but moved in to an apartment where the noise would never fly. Sold my set, and would love to have it back.

I have an older sister and two younger brothers.

And I never take myself too seriously.

Mr BWF and I have been together since my freshman and his sophomore year in HS. That was 45 years ago, and we wouldn’t change a thing...I can speak for him of course! Good luck and much happiness.

BTW, not taking yourselves seriously is a great way to make it work!

I've lived longer in Kentucky(28) than I have my home state of Alabama(22). I worked at Mid-America Machine Inc. for 27 years. Retired at 49. The last job I had in Alabama was killing the test animals at a lab.
