AJ came back about a week earlier than anticipated with the brace on the knee, and looked great. Miami was in the house to watch him play.

The Colonels are building big time momentum:

 

- CJ and Aiden consistently do their thing,

- Jake has had some big games recently and is gaining more confidence each week,

- Nowak's D continues to stifle and now he is taking the open shots and scoring

- Thelen is a beast on D and the boards,

-- there are 4 trusted bench players that can D up and score a bucket or two at anytime,

- and now AJ is back and makes an immediate impact

 

Lookout 9th Region ...

AJ definitely brings another level of intensity and athleticism. As good and as big as they are without him, he is physical difference maker and another confident shooter.

More than any physical/athletic attributes that AJ does bring, the most important thing in my mind is his leadership and tenacity. He is the vocal leader of this team, and just having him on the court makes a huge difference.

By the way, no younger Mayer last night...under the weather.
