OLDSKOOLPLAYMAKR
As the regular season draws to a close, what teams are making a serious statement that they shouldn't be taken lightly as the playoffs roll around? I am really looking for teams that started out the season on a downswing, but I am sure that some of you see teams that have played pretty well all season beginning to turn it up another notch with November approaching; any thoughts??? SomersetFootball
Somerset started out on an 0-4 skid but has now turned it around and has won 4 straight in the district, 10 straight dating back to last year. Something about the district that makes Somerset wanna play.
westsider
Well, the schedule did get a lot easier ... Nevertheless, Somerset could easily repeat as a state semifinalist.
AverageJoesGym
Well, the schedule did get a lot easier ... Nevertheless, Somerset could easily repeat as a state semifinalist. It will be far from easy. Pikeville, Harlan, and Lynn Camp will have something to say about that. None of those teams will lay down for anyone..... westsider
Didn't mean that it was an easy route, just that Somerset could very well repeat as regional champs.
modok
Boyle Co. is certianly turning things aroundas the playoffs draw near. they got hammered by some really good teams in the first part of the season. Now the have won two straight in district play and qualify for the playoffs!:thumb:
pnthr4life
I would say that 2 teams come to mind for me. The first being Lloyd, who has seemed to right their ship and the second would be Dixie. They got off to a horrible start, by their standards, but are playing pretty good football at this time.

KYSPORTSFAN
Lincoln started the season with a loss to PRP, but is on a 7 game winning streak and looks to be getting stronger every game.
