I saw the score after I posted but I didn't want to go back and edit. I would have had Boyle at #1 going into tonight's game but I'll say Pulaski County now. And I know Mercer beat Pulaski, but in the third game of a holiday tournament where just about anything can happen, I don't put quite as much stock in that result.

I wouldn't put much stock in head to head on a neutral floor either. Both teams played same amount of games in same amount of days. Trevon also sat out most of the 2nd and 3rd qtr with foul trouble. Fitzgerald played the whole game

I'm assuming you are a Mercer fan. Would you agree that Mercer is only one point better than a North Hardin squad that is 4-10? Because that's what the result from Corbin says.

 

My point was, by the third game in as many days in a tournament, you've not really scouted and game planned like a regular season game against a singular opponent. Anything can happen.

It is difficult to win at Pulaski... there needs to be a very strong officiating crew calling the game.

Right and neither did mercer that works both ways. Trevon played less in that game than any game all year. So boyle gets beat by Pulaski. Mercer beats Pulaski and mercer is 3rd out of these 3 teams?

Agreed. Despite what people want to believe there is very little separation amongst the top 4-5 teams in the region. If Wayne County is now fully healthy. These scores in December and January won’t mean squat in March.
