I have no faith in the Bengals fixing any of their problems via free agency. It never seems to work for them when they have gone that route.

 

Are we just a QB away from the playoffs? I don’t think it mattered who was back there this year. They were not going to be successful.

 

Once again let's not let the problems of this year out weigh the problems that we saw when we had a good line. We know even with top 5 talent like in the past. Dalton is nor getting us anywhere once in the playoffs. So we can fix the line and all that put all these pieces around Dalton like he had before but then were back to where we was and don't have a qb to get us over the top by always drafting in the 20s instead of top 10.

 

So yes line is a problem. But if we can get a qb in the top 10 that truly could be a franchise qb then you do it because those chances don't happen often. Then you spend the rest of draft and free agency trying to put a different line together.

The jags remind me of the 2005 Bengals except opposite. Great defense and offense that does just enough. Both teams were also very cocky and arrogant and doesn't turn out well in the end.

How dare you talk bad about that 2005 Bengals team. They win the super bowl that year had Kimo Von Awful Hoffen not taken it upon himself to take out Palmer out. That game still gives me nightmares.

As much as I would like to believe that. Our track record of Lewis against Steelers points to we just find some other heartbreaking way to lose to them. Even if we did win. Our defense had no shot of slowing down that Colts offense.

Jags havent won on the West Coast since the Bengals have been in the playoffs. Guess we will see how tomorrow goes, that game doesnt really bother me that much. The Jags are the only team in the AFC that stand a chance vs the Pats this year.

I don’t really have a “team” but I always pull for underdogs, and I always want to see the Browns win one, so I’d like to see them grab Baker Mayfield.

I will now say the "Tom Coughlin". If you get good big guys, you will always be competitive. The d-line we are ok there. The o-line. well a long way to go. Draft big guys (that are not injured).

If you want TE I think Mike Gesicki from Penn State is who I would go after. I’m not saying he’s Gronk, but he has times where he looks as impossible to cover as Gronk is.
