Just finished first season. Interesting enough to keep going to season two. Who else watched this series and is there ever a point it "jumps the shark"?

It's solid throughout. There are a few things that happen that seem kinda hokey, but the show always recovered.

 

Once I started watching it, I couldn't stop.

I watched it all as it aired. For me personally, things take a dive after season 4. There's still some good stuff throughout, but I could've stopped after 4 and felt fulfilled.

I also binge watched it a couple years ago. Loved it, but it did start to get too much towards the end.

I'd say watch at least through season 4. If you stick around for 5, you get Julia Stiles, and season 6 sets up 7.

 

I watched most of season 8 over the weekend and had forgotten about John Elway's involvement.

 

I really like the series, though I'm easily impressed.
