Anyone know how close Clark is to catching Josh Gross's TD mark? If that mark is catchable over the last three games Clark may get more PT than usual.

Gross scored 105 TDs. Clark currently has 85 career TDs. 20 more is possible if Russell goes far in the playoffs.

 

I'd take another state championship over any individual record though.

I agree on the State Championship!

Those are some impressive numbers from two good football players. The thing I found interesting about these two players is that both were great defensive players.

Both are just great athletes no matter if it is offense or defense. Gross is currently playing WB for Georgetown and time will tell which side of the ball Clark will play at the next level.

You must remember that this is not the same East Carter team that we have seen in the past, their much smaller and younger, They run the same offense and with that in mind East will be lucky to even score....

Kasey broke Gross's season TD record last year. He's on pace to break his own record this year.

Oh, if you're talking of career record I think Kasey needs about 20 or so more to get it. With 2 more regular season games to go before the playoffs, I think if Russell makes a long run the record would be a possibility. Josh played all 4 years as varsity RB and Kasey has had 3 years, so that may be a really tough record for any Russell RB to break but Josh wasn't your average RB. Josh was an amazing talent from an early age and the fact he played RB as a freashman at Russell only comfirms that.
