Wireman Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 I knew Weber State was in trouble when they left too much time on the clock. They went for the kill on the big pass on first down, but ended up shooting themselves in the foot.
DukeDog Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 I was there. Craziest game I've ever seen, and I was at the St. X vs. Sycamore regional final game last year. I can't feel my toes but I don't care! I knew our offensive struggles would hurt us. It didn't help that for a couple drives our defense crumbled. I stood in the section right behind the end zone where Batchelor made the catch between the two defenders. Gotta give him credit, that was an amazing grab. Stapleton killed it. Marshall rushing for 128 yards helped us immensely. Now it's time for finals week! I hope that those who watched enjoyed FCS football! It's definitely entertaining, especially come playoff time.
oldrambler Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 One of the best games that I've seen this year. I have to say that I thought that Weber State shouldn't had been flagged for the "hold" on the FG that was blocked and they (Weber) ran back for the TD. That looked to me like he fell, brushed the holder. Maybe it was bc he did bump him, but to me that was a no call bc both players were falling before running into him and imo the Weber player didn't cause the JMU kid to go down. Not complaining, I didn't have a dog in this fight. I just hated to see that ultimately cost them. Weber wins, upsets the #1 team had that not been called. Anyway, I just love watching this level of ncaa football.
bugatti Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 Still perplexed why Weber State didn’t go for two. You knew JMU was going to score again with ease. Dumb coaching decision.
