Hoban was up 14-0 and had only ran 1 offensive play. Tough for Winton Woods to overcome that start and it snowballed from there.

Nice to see Wheelersburg bring home another title. I'm pretty sure this is only their second state title even though they are a tradition rich school. Larry Hall a former Ashland coach, came to Ashland from Wheelersburg in the late 90's.

Much closer than most thought it would be. Tri-Valley was driving to tie the game, but a pass got picked off in the end zone with under 20 seconds to go to seal the win for Trotwood-Madison.

Division VI Champ (Marion Local) and Division VII Champ (Minster) are from the MAC conference. The MAC is in western Ohio, with most of the schools in Mercer County.

 

The MAC has won 32 football titles in OHIO. They may be the best conference in Ohio, definitely the best small school conference in OHIO.

In a testament to how tough the MAC is, Minster actually finished 5th in the conference standings this year. You could argue that it's one of the best small school leagues in the country.
