November 15, 20178 yr That OSU/Iowa game will go down the biggest statistical anomaly in the history of college football. I literally have nothing to say about that game. It still blows my mind. I'll say it for you. Getting blown out by a team of Iowa's caliber should eliminate Ohio State from playoff consideration.
November 15, 20178 yr My comments in another thread can be copied and pasted in here as well. It's hard to have conversations when every rebuttal is a conspiracy theory. So it's ok for you to suggest Clemson is only where they are because of love for Clemson. But it's not ok to say that about OSU? Ok then lol

November 15, 20178 yr So give Bama a bye and have Oklahoma and Miami play because no other team will deserve it. I'm good with that.
November 15, 20178 yr I'll say it for you. Getting blown out by a team of Iowa's caliber should eliminate Ohio State from playoff consideration. It would seriously be like Bama getting blown out by UK this year.
November 15, 20178 yr Author So it's ok for you to suggest Clemson is only where they are because of love for Clemson. But it's not ok to say that about OSU? Ok then lol Well my argument about Clemson is fact. :lol2: But in all seriousness there is nothing about Clemson that says they should be ahead of Miami or Oklahoma. Kirby Hocutt said last night that they took into account Kelly Bryant's injury when putting Clemson at 2. Either someone didn't inform them that Oklahoma was missing six starters when they lost to Iowa State or they didn't seek out the information. Either its a systematic promotion of Clemson or shear incompetence.
November 15, 20178 yr So the committee ranks Penn State and Michigan State ahead of Stanford and Arizona because they are trying to boost OSU's resume? Is that what you are proposing? Look, I'm not trying to take a dig at USC. NOBODY wants to play that team with that QB. I think USC is a really good team and if OSU doesn't make the playoff, USC is the last team I want to face. Ahead of anybody. But if both teams win out the resumes won't be comparable. Thats not me saying that. Thats the committee saying that, thats the "experts" saying that, and thats Vegas saying that. The committee is giving the BIG 10 the benefit. Penn State and Michigan State are considered better wins than Arizona and Stanford. Because OSU has a far worse loss than USC. And I don't even like USC
November 15, 20178 yr Author I'm good with that. As long as you would admit no one else deserves to get in them I'm fine with it as well. I'm not making the argument OSU deserves to get it in. I'm saying they will probably get in by default.

Because OSU has a far worse loss than USC. And I don't even like USC Come on. Michigan State and Stanford are comparable, but Penn State is a much better team than Stanford and Arizona. Not even close.
November 15, 20178 yr Come on. Michigan State and Stanford are comparable, but Penn State is a much better team than Stanford and Arizona. Not even close. I really don't know how you can make that claim. Penn State doesn't have a good win on their resume. Not a one.
November 15, 20178 yr Author I really don't know how you can make that claim. Penn State doesn't have a good win on their resume. Not a one. I don't have to. Penn State is just better.
November 15, 20178 yr I don't have to. Penn State is just better. Based on what? Surely not based on on-field performance.
November 15, 20178 yr Author Based on what? Surely not based on on-field performance. They're just better. If Penn State played either of those teams who would you put your money on?
November 15, 20178 yr They're just better. If Penn State played either of those teams who would you put your money on? The home team.
