HUGE win for the Daviess County football program! That Panther offense has been great all season but always seemed to make a few extra mistakes here and there that held them back. Now they are eliminating the mistakes and have added a dangerous running game with Landon Newman which makes them multi dimensional. Throw in the fact that their defense has played extremely well over the last month or so and DC is all the sudden a very very good football team. Hats off to all those coaches and players for changing the culture at that school.

His numbers are ridiculous.

He is a junior-- as is most of their skill

Their entire offense(skill players) will return next season. They have really became a complete offense now that Newman is healthy. I see he rushed for almost 300 last night. When they can have THAT kind of balance, its going to be very hard to stop them.

This score does surprise me. Not that Daviess couldn’t win but that it appears fairly easily.

What is most impressive to me about Daviess County, is the way their defense has emerged over the past 3 weeks. They have limited 3 pretty good offenses over that time. They don't even have to play great to win games with the way they score. To go from giving up 50 plus to McCracken the first time around, to holding them scoreless in the first half, that's impressive.

Etown is closer than Owensboro. But Owensboro has better food. Hmmm....who to pull for?
