Not very many Larue or Western posters on here so this could be a game that gets lost in the mix. A pair of Top 5 2A teams competing for a district title. Larue County has a fairly impressive resume coming into this one, and Western is flawless. Both teams are sort of a mystery for the rest of the state.

 

Anyone in the know with any thoughts and predictions?

Western by 21. Western is no secret up here in Breathitt County. I would love to see Breathitt and Western one more time this season. One of the most physical games I have ever seen. Western is the real deal.

I'm going to have to go with Western in this one too. I am yet to see any flaws in Westerns play. 21-7 Western

Western's Justin Collins and several other Warrior players have speed like Bardstown, and their line is similar as well. Larue got spanked by Bardstown and should have problems with the Warriors. Western 35 Larue Co. 21

Larue Co. did beat John Hardin, who also has a lot of speed. These two teams have played four common opponents with the scores being similar and with the game being at Larue, I will have to go with the Hawks.

Not seeing Western, and have played against Larue Co. Do not count the Hawks out of this one. Should be very physical game, if Western has the speed the hawks could be in for a long night. Justin Thruman is the real deal, gets tired late in the game because going both ways.

It could be significant that this game is being played at Larue County, although Western has already won a very tough road game at Breathitt County.
