All Play No Work
Spencer County comes off the big win against Newport..............but if you use common opponent Henry County as a measuring stick ( Lloyd beat them 48-6, Spencer County beat them 39-27) could Lloyd pull this one off? NEERFAN
Lloyd struggled during their OOD games but they did play (2) AAAA squads, Beechwood and Dayton, 2-0 in districts, and at home, I think the Juggs win a close one this week.
LMHSDaddy
This game should tell us alot about both teams. Last year Lloyd won 69-27. Spencer appearantly is much improved!!! Lloyd has had difficulties in non-district play but as NEERFAN said, they play a tuff schedule. Dince districts started the Juggs look much better. (partly more comperable competition and the young players getting some reps under their belt) I see this game either a low scoring battle or their gonna wear out the score board! Good luck Juggs, play tough and stay focused.
LMHSDaddy
For those of you that are numbers freaks Lloyd's opponets are a combined 22-27. Spencer Co.'s are 23-28. Looks like a dead heat there. If you use Henry Co. as All Play No Work suggests, Lloyd's O touched Henry up for 9 more points and their D gave up 21 less points. In a vacuum Lloyd should score 30 more points than Spencer Co. but we all know football is not played in a vacuum!
KillerCats09
I look for this one to go to Spencer County. The Jugs' need to come together before they're packing the gear away for the winter. However, the Jugs do play better in the last part of the season when it matters. This AA district could get interesting if the Jugs can hang on. The fourth spot may be between Newport and the Jugs. joedirt
Seems strange betting against Lloyd....so I won't. Jugs - 21 Spencer -
fitzjugg
I don't think the weather will hurt Lloyd much. It's supposed to rain Wed/Thurs and be cold on Friday. The field is not in very good shape when it's dry, so it should be pretty muddy! Turnovers will be BIG!! I'll take Lloyd in a pretty close one 20-
KillerCats09
I think Spencer County will dominate this one. After beating Newport -- SC has a lot of confidence and that's going to carry them. From what I was told SC has a quarterback that can flat out pick your secondary apart. JUGGS 16 SPENCER CTY

Sandman
. The fourth spot may be between Newport and the Jugs. Not sure how you figure this. Henry County and North Oldham do not fact in, which leaves Mercer, Spencer, Lloyd, and Newport as the playoff teams by default.
LMHSDaddy
The field's in bad shape?::confused: Didn't the school spend a lot of money on bermuda grass just a few years ago to upgrade the field? Yeah they did! The field looks worst than ever this year. Hard to imagine since the Varsity Juggs have only played at home twice. I know the Erlanger Lions play on the field as much this year as varsity. I guess the JV and Frosh games have taken their toll on it. Maybe Billy Lyon is gonna give the school a ton of money so we can get turf also! Yeah right! And monkeys might fly out of my butt too. Who thought Bermuda grass was a good idea in our climate? There's a reason it's named after Bermuda. Had disaster written all over from the word go, someone should have seen that and saved the school many thousands of dollars. The Lions have used the field forever, as have the JV and freshman teams, and the field used to hold up pretty well.
LMHSDaddy
I guess it didnt get hot enuogh early enough to grow well this year. It dosent really matter much now. It would be brown after tonights frost anyway.
