Ashland won last years 2nd round playoff game against them 43-13!

No faith in the CATS. I'm the only one that thinks Ashland wins. WOW!! Ashland wins this game by 3 plus scores.

Bourbon has a few standout individual players (Ransom, Williams) that will make some plays, but Ashland is a more complete team, IMO. Tomcats by 3-4 TDs.

Respect your opinion but I don't think it's fully accurate. TJ Whetstine Senior WR/DB 6'4 215 had 3TD's and 2 INT's vs Greenup Co. Dalton Tucker OT/DT D1 Signee with Marshall and made the All State Bluegrass Team as a starter. Dalen Landrum JR QB has thrown for over 2,000 yards and 20 TD's. Not saying Ashland won't win but they will NOT beat Bourbon by 3 or 4 TD's. Keep overlooking the Colonels.

I have watched both teams as my team played against them, this is an interesting match up, Bourbon has some size on the line and a nice running back, give Ashland the advantage of not having to travel and their depth, I would pick Ashland, they seem to be really deep and I think their defense is a little stronger.

Does Bourbon have the team speed that Holmes has? Holmes had some nice, quick athletes, just not enough of them. Holmes also spread the field well, which Ashland doesn't see very often so they had to adjust to that. IMO, if Bourbon is a run heavy team then they will struggle with Ashland unless they have a lot of team speed and depth. Vice versa, if Bourbon runs a balanced offense and can neutralize Ashland's defense then it will likely be a close one if Bourbon has a defense deep enough to contain Ashland's offense for four quarters.

Bourbon's QB threw for over 2000 yards and 20 TD's while missing 4 weeks (3 games total). Last week Bourbon had a very balanced attack. QB was 22-34 for 278 and 3 TD's. RB had 188 yards on 22 carries.

Just from what I can remember, Bourbon has a running back that can flat out fly, I know we had trouble containing him. I just think Ashlands defense is a little stronger and should pull out a victory against a very solid Boubon team.

Weather will make it hard to sling it around tomorrow night. High tomorrow will be 38 and drop into the 20s by kickoff. Ground and pound and turnovers will decide the game more then likely. Ashland OL has been playing great football and opening some nice holes for Hester and Colburn. Really liked Cline in the backfield too. Kid is starting at DT at 5'9 and 185 pounds but is as hard nosed a football player as you will find. Ashland wins by 20 or more.
