I would have to look up all of them to be sure, but Raceland has 17 of them I believe. 2002 was the last one.

You sound surprised!! If so, why?

Actually my bad, it's only 15. I believe the 4 class system started in '74 or '75 Since then the Rams have titles for '75, '77, '79, '80, '82, '84, '86, '87, '88, '90, '92, '95, '96, '98, and '02. Not bad considering that out of 34 titles the Rams hold 15 of them.

I belive that you are correct in that te 4 class system started in 75' tgf. When it started only the district champion advanced to the playoffs, then it went to 2 teams from a district going to the 4 teams that advance now.

Did anyone see local Lexingotn news yesterday morning where they interviewed Chase Dumphord, the HUGE lineman for Paris? He looks like a stud D-1 lineman at 6'7" 310#! He plays basketball as well and actually took a football and easily "dunked" it over the goal-post crossbar!

My apology for getting off topic EE and I didn't see the particular interview that you are talking about but I know of that kid, he is for real.

He plays polite too. A guy that size in class A should dominate the line. He goes half speed. I'd take Nick Wilson #65 any day. LCA's line will have their way. LCA will have a big night passing.

And I think I have said before, i don't think you want to be the one that Nick Wilson trounces on! oouch...

I think Paris can pull this one out. If so Raceland has another district Championship!

 

 

How does Raceland have another district championship if Paris wins? Doesn't Paris and Raceland play at the end of the year. If Paris beats LCA they (Paris) are undefeated in the district and Raceland has one loss in the district. So I am not sure how Paris beating LCA would give Raceland a district championship?
