I don't hold grudges against my family and friends, regardless of what they do. They are too important to me. My sister says I'm a doormat. I told her I love her, too.

With friends I forgive and forget easily. With sports teams, takes forever. Marge and Steinbrenner have been dead for years but I still don't care for the Reds or Yankees because of them. Same with UC, took several years for my dislike of the Bearcats to fade after Huggins departure. Illogical, I know.
