I have done a music theme weather outlook in a while. :D

Looks like we are in for a weather rollercoaster this week. Parts of Kentucky mainly east of I-65 is under a Freeze warning for late tonight and Monday morning. Temps could dip down to from the upper 20s to low 30s. Temps look to moderate by midweek with rain moving in. Temperatures look to be in the high 60s to low 70s by the weekend with the chance for thunderstorms. Some of these possible storms could be strong to severe. I'll update as we go along this week.

Such drastic temperature swings means sickness is ahead, or is that just folklore?

I can always count on a sinus infection when the weather changes so drastically. I predict a Mediterranean climate in my 5-year forecast.

I don't have much time right now but I just wanted to let everyone know I'm still watching this weekend's weather. The possibility of strong to severe storms has increased some. Especially Sunday afternoon into the evening hours. I will post an update later today.

Wednesday evening update:

There seems to be a chance for thunderstorms on Sunday. Some of which could be strong to severe. These storms possible storms could fire up during the afternoon and go into the evening hours. For now, the main threats look to be damaging winds and large hail in the stronger storms. I'll start daily updates in the morning.

Don't forget to set your clocks back 1 hour this weekend.

Thursday morning update.

Most if not all of Kentucky will see temps in the low to mid-70s on Sunday. Dew points look to be in the mid to upper 60s. So some of the ingredients look to be present for the possibility of strong to severe storms. As of now, the threat is low but really depends on the timing of the passing of a strong cold front that looks to pass through Kentucky Sunday through Monday. I will update this evening or earlier if information warrants it.

FYI with the time change this weekend I've already switched to Easter Standard Time for Sunday. I forgot to in the post last night.

The Storm Prediction Center has increased the area for the possibility of strong to severe storms on Sunday. Our members in Indiana, Ohio and NKY area should keep an eye on the weather for Sunday afternoon into the evening hours.

For now, the modeling timing is not in good agreement. Trends continue to point to severe thunderstorms capable of large hail, damaging winds. An isolated tornado or two is now in the realm of possibility.

As the cold front passes through Kentucky numerous storms with possible marginal wind damage will be possible.

I will be updating in the morning. If the modeling trend continues I will be starting a new thread then.
