October 19, 20178 yr Thread to have ongoing in game discussion for each nights games. First look at Lonzo and the Lakers tonight.
October 19, 20178 yr TWolves lost last night at San Antonio and Kawahi is not yet playing. Ugh. The Wolves have some rotation issues to work through but they are much more talented than they were the past few years.
October 19, 20178 yr How about this rookie class? Tatum, Simmons, Brooks, and Fox all with stellar performances to start the season. This year's rookie class is great.

Still not in the thick of contention. I love Kyle Anderson's game, and the Spurs will be just fine when TP retires. Murray is a really nice player. Scary backcourt, especially on the floor with Kawhi and LMA. They're a young, talented, post player away from another 20-year run like the last 20 or so. (Boogie?) Pop could coach until he dies.

October 19, 20178 yr TP is probably more of a liability at this point. I'd like to see him on the court before I make that judgement. I was watching with a friend who thought Manu should have retired two years ago, and immediately following those words coming out of his mouth, Manu hit a three, then made a play on the defensive end and shut him up. I was waaaaay down on the Spurs before the season, but if TP is anything more than a shell of himself, they will contend for the privilege of losing to LeBron and Wade one last time in the Finals.
October 20, 20178 yr ^The one between Portis and Mirotic? That was a few days ago. Markkanen looked good last night for Chicago.
October 20, 20178 yr Author Not sure what Walton was doing. Lonzo sat the entire 4th and end of the 3rd.
October 20, 20178 yr Not sure what Walton was doing. Lonzo sat the entire 4th and end of the 3rd. Locking down a couple LaVar soundbites to carry us through the football weekend.
October 21, 20178 yr TWolves found a way to squeak out a victory against Utah. Still no flow or PG play (wish we still had Rubio). Towns took 12 shots. That ain’t enough. Wiggins did his typical Houdini act after a tremendous stretch during the first half. Not liking what I’ve seen thus far, but the season is young...
