Simon Kenton 65 Campbell County 40

Featured Replies

Simons starting defense was in for all 40. They won, lets not exaggerate.

I dont think anyone said otherwise. Honestly didn't pay much attention.

I never saw this one coming. I thought with Dowds CC had a very good shot at winning this game..

SK needs to work out some kinks in their pass defense. Run defense was solid.

Not surprised by the outcome, but I am surprised by the number of points and margin of victory . I really expected the Camel defense to better this year with the number of experienced players coming back from last years team. I get it, the team that scores the most wins, but this is not a scenario the SK defense wants to have happen on a regular basis giving up 40 points.

This was the first game all year that CC allowed a big play on defense. They allowed a season’s worth of big plays in this game. Onward and upward, Camels.

Agreed on the 40 points. That shouldn't be acceptable for SK. Having watched the game though, once it got to 65-26, I believe there was a bit of focus lost.

Like I said in the update thread Campbell's offense can be very good in spurts. However, their special teams gave SK a short field all night. SK had solid yards on offense but they were given the ball near the 40 yard line the entire game.

After hearing what I did on the sidelines last night, I would like to watch the game film to see what SK was trying on defense at times. Their coverage down field was great on occasion, lucky a few others and just an absolute mess on some big plays for Campbell.
