Middleton will play the wing and is a knock down 3 point shooter. He has gotten bigger and stronger so they are expecting big things from him in the Greenhouse.

Hahahaha. Did you also say that Coach Biggs was regretting his decision to move to Ashland? Someone said that, I cant remember who it was. But I can completely squash that rumor and tell you that everything is going really well for Coach Biggs and he loves being at Ashland. :thumb:

Looking forward to seeing if you have what you think you have. I'm not for a minute implying you don't, but am more curious than anything. I'd guess that the new coach is as much a mystery to most in the region and I am interested in the type of O he'll employ compared to the "Hoosiers" replica we all got used to. And I'll agree with Richardp that I'll bet it will be something that Matt can be exploited a bit more IMO.

I think Greenup is being overlooked in the ratings. They return some solid players in Brown, Wolfenbarker, and the sleeper of the region Justin Middleton. Also the Wright twins return for the Musketeers. A definite top 5 team in the 16th.

You have to put West Carter their around the 10 spot due to their 3 returning players, Hollingsworth, Barker, and Wolfe... The new coach (Jeremy Webb, west alum and Morehead alum) has light a fire under them all summer, only lost to Russell by 8 at the Fairview shootout... They'll be a team to watch out for come tournament time, esp. once the new starters get experience...

by the way just curious why is it that when a coach wins or runs it is all about the studs? Does not Russell have some studs? But they play slow and won the region playing that way. Everybody who wins games has good players. How much depth do you need to run that is what I was asking before.

I think that a poster from Coach Biggs's old school stated that he didn't like his players playing football. I think that is where the question came from.

Aggressive play requires more players due to increased fatigue and fouls. I think 8 is enough.

That poster is misinformed then. Elliott played football and they had numerous guys who played soccer on teams that won regional championships and came in late. Elrod being one of them.
