North Oldham has won two games this year after gong winless last season. However, Collins seems like too tall of a task.

Collins at home.

This game might take 4 hours to play.

If NO can protect the qb, then this will be a good one.

LOL....

Great mid-season rebound for North. They've won 2 of last 3 after really not being competitive in their first four. Joe Gamsky and his crew have done a bang-up job in Goshen.

Final three games - all on the road - will be a real challenge for North. Versus: Collins, Franklin County, and Anderson County. Two ranked teams and one that probably should be. Mustangs will be hard-pressed to pull an upset in any of the three games, but you have to love the fight this team has shown of late.

Collins could be special by the time all is said and done. JR Lucas already has over 2,000 all-purpose yards (>1,300 passing and >700 rushing) and Nick Eades is a beast on defense (82 tackles; 42 solo).

Common opponents:

Oldham County - Collins beat OC by 7; North lost to Oldham by 11 in the second game of the season.

Spencer County - both scored over 30 points in easy wins over the Bears.

This could be very, very interesting. Despite the records (Collins 5-2, North Oldham 2-5), I'm expecting this to be a pretty competitive game. Collins has to be favored, but a North win wouldn't be a shocker at all.

CM

Collins scores 50. North scores 6.

I think this will be a real tall task. North is definitely playing better, their skill players are as good as many of the past teams. Their issues have been on the lines. It would be a big upset on the road.

It would be an extremely big upset.

Bottom-line is this: Despite the tremendous improvements by North, they still have far more questions to answer. The Mustangs have done a remarkable job, turning around a season in which many expected 0 wins. But they will have to do just about everything right to win this one.

That said, there's a reason why upsets happen in HS football - it's HS football....

North was picked to finish second in the district and could still do that with a win the next two weeks.

18 seniors last year-- 13 this year- they definitely have the experience to compete late in the season.

This one will not be close. Rose may make a few plays against the Collins secondary but they will not stop Collins. 42-14 Collins, Collins is just a different level than the other four teams in the district.

They have the potential to be ground. I think they have the potential to be one of those in the final 4.

Still a couple of games left.

Oldham county too small to support 3 high schools. Academically it is a good thing.

Athletically it is stretching things talent wise to produce a good football program year after year. Same goes for Nelson county, and Shelby county.
