I love competitive games like this.

Raceland gave the Jumpers all they wanted tonight. SHS lucky to get out of there with the win. The schedule doesn't let up as Danville await next week for the Jumpers.

Another hard hitting game tonight, just like everyone expected.

Freshman Kade Grundy is such a game changer for the Jumpers!! He touches the ball once, maybe twice a game and scores a huge touchdown in each of the last 3 games of close to 70 yards.

Tough one to lose ....Congrats to Sommerset on the win. You were the better team tonight and I wish you the best the rest of the way .. you people have a very good football team and are a Class Act , coaches, players and fans :thumb:

Big plays beat my Ramblers tonight.

I never would’ve thought that Somerset would be 5-2 at this point in the season. I’m glad they’ve proved me wrong.

Somerset jumps right in with Danville next week...

Good ball game. But for the 2nd week in a row I left the field scratching my head. Too predictable on offense. We refuse to stretch the field. The scoring drive out of half time was great play calling and it resulted in a TD. Hurry up offense, good mix of runs and a few short passes. The HB pass was a great gutsy call. Outside of that it was the same thing we see every week. Too much tallent, depth and ability on this team to be knocking in being a 500 team. We weren't ready for Ashland. But we should be looking at a 1 loss season, imo. Instead of 3. Got a week off to get healthy and recover. Couldn't come at a better time. Somerset is making strides to get back to where they were in the late 2000s. Depth is holding them back a bit, but they have some serious play makers on the DL. #11 and #1 r some dang good ball players.

Raceland's week off couldn't come at a better time. A week to heal up some bumps and bruises and get re focused / minds set on district play. Starting first with arch rival Fairview and then district / 1A state power Paintsville.

 

Rams ... you have went thru a tough, grueling out of district schedule for one reason and that was to prepare you for a district, region and 1A State run.
