colonel-fan
4 of the top 5 3A teams are in Region III.
Diogenes
An interesting aspect to the top 10 is strength of schedule. All ten had schedules ranked among the 25 most difficult, led by X (1), Cov Cath (2), Manual (3), Highlands (4) and Bowling Green (5).
katbird
THE BIRDS SHOULD BE#4 !!!!!!!!!! :D
jbwill2
I am surprised that LexCath is ranked as high as they are.
Diogenes
THE BIRDS SHOULD BE#4 !!!!!!!!!! :D I have seen both teams play against St. X. From a neutral observer's perspective the old dilemma "would you rather drown in the Atlantic or the Pacific?" applies here. Bowling Green had a quick and powerful defense, but their offense was without their quarterback and their star running back. Despite this, St. X struggled to beat the Purples. And on the other hand, Highlands was able to spread the Tigers out and roll up yards and points. I preferred the Highlands offense and the Purples defense, based on one observation of each team. Bear in mind that the Purples were absent much of their backfield in the contest I observed. It would not be unreasonable to place either team at the fourth position. (By the way, both schools had some of the classiest fans I have seen). If these squads make it to the title game it will be a ticket worth purchasing! katbird
Have you seen them play? Nope................ I'm just guessing that there are a few AAA and AAAA teams not mentioned that would handle them pretty easily...Just my opinion:thumb: :thumb:

westsider
I think Bardstown is a good Class A team, but #12 in the state?
OldCamelNewBird
Wow, those don't look too good. There is no way Lex. Cath. should be ranked that high and why Franklin Co. should be that low. Also, Central should be on there somewhere, after all they do have a pretty good record. But this is the lowest I have seen Highlands on any ratings and it doesn't really seem too justified when you think about strength of schedule and how close the scores were in those games.
