BluegrassPreps Class 2A Football Rankings (9/18) Discussion

Featured Replies

NCC isn't flying under anyone's radar.

They shouldn't be anyway! Every year, or at least it seems like every year, they come into the playoffs with .500 or slightly better record because of their tough schedule and somehow find themselves in the championship game.

Considering Danvilles struggles last week im not sure they will stay at 1 very long.

I'd have it like this at the current moment:

1) DESALES

2) LCA

3) MAYFIELD

4) DANVILLE

5) CAL

6) SOMERSET

7) NCC

8) GLASGOW

9) LLOYD MEMORIAL

10) W.VERONA

Again, I was there. There were a number of reasons why that score was close. Danville didn't "struggle" at all after the first half.

I was at Danville game and you are correct.

There were several reasons the score was as close as it was.

Lets just say there was some home cooking in "the Ville".

Wide open class. I love it. In 2-A, I have only seen DeSales play this season, but I will say this for them. Except for the top tier teams (Trinity, St X, Male, PRP), they have played the best of the best in the city of Louisville so far and are undefeated. They take a road trip to Lexington this week to take on their Catholic brethren, then it's 6-A North Hardin and CAL. They're still making a lot of the mistakes that young teams make, but the ceiling is REALLY high!

In no order.

1A DeSales

1B Mayfield

1C Danville

1D NCC

1E LCA.

1F CAL

These teams all can knock each other off any Friday!
