ok i thought he was sayin that Corbin didn't have a big fan following after the Rock loss.

I was talking about the other schools. Corbin will have a crowd. I was told the Varsity Club lost money the last two years with the other three teams that played in the Pigskin.

Don't know if they lost money or what but it sure wasn't the show it allways was. The Music, the crowd, the fire works, and campbell field put together has allways been a big time intimidator for other teams coming in to play corbin in the pigskin. The lex. Cath coach said his team was absoloutly scared half to death just hearing and seeing what was going on as they walked across Lynn Camp Creek Bridge. The pigskin needs to be stepped back up a notch.

Just wanted to say that the Ludlow Panthers had the honor of playing in this back in '98 and it is very well put together and we truly enjoyed the experience.

Fan support isn't what it used to be, thats why the Pigskin Classic wasn't at the level we are used to. The fireworks, loud music, air shows ect. showed that the people around the program were excited about what they are doing! The Pigskin this year was none of that, no one seems excited about doing anything anymore. The program needs some exciting flavor to it. We need the Pigskin to be the BEST bowl in the state. Vin Hoover had it there, but its derailed right now.

Vin did put countless hours and money into making it that way.

Maybe Big Vin will be back involved in the sports programs at Corbin soon enough. I know he has some Kin that will be playing all them sports for them Hounds in a couple of years. He is a true gentleman and was a great Booster to the Corbin Community as a whole. Maybe we can put together some kinda big " Welcome Back Vin " parade and talk him into moving back down here with all us Country Boys. Ol' Bubba sur would like to see him hanging arund and getting things complished.
